Job description

Our UHNW client, based in South Kensington, London, is seeking a Norland-trained Nanny to join their fully staffed household and care for their four children, aged 9, 7, 5, and 1.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, an excellent communicator, and a strong team player, working seamlessly alongside other nannies, tutors, housekeepers, and a chauffeur.

Key responsibilities include managing the children’s schedules and activities, overseeing school WhatsApp groups, and ensuring smooth coordination of their daily routines. The older children attend school until the afternoon, while the youngest has a dedicated nanny.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, educational tasks, and creative projects.
Assist with homework and school projects if required.
Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
Ensure proper hygiene and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and nappy changes if needed.
Follow the family’s daily routines and schedules.
Keep the children’s areas clean and organised, including bedrooms, playrooms, and dining spaces.
Administer basic first aid or medication as directed by parents.
Communicate regularly with parents about the children’s development, behaviour, and any concerns.
Travel with the family on holidays.
Provide occasional evening or weekend babysitting, if required.

Requirements

You must have a Norland Diploma or equivalent experience in a similar role.
The role requires flexibility to travel with the family, so a valid passport is essential.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable around dogs, as the family has a poodle.
An exception may be made for a German-speaking career nanny with an outstanding employment history and excellent references.
Trustworthy and professional.
Flexibility in adapting to changing schedules and requirements.
Holds a valid passport and can travel with the family.
Fluent in English. (German added bonus).
Experienced nanny with excellent checkable references.
Pet Friendly.

Work conditions

Rota 10 day or 1 week on/off from 7am to 7pm.
Salary up to £90,000 gross per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
Separate Accommodation could be provided if required.
Start date - ASAP - As soon as the right candidate is found.
